Tottenham supporters may be surprised by Daniel Levy’s response when he is asked to list his three greatest accomplishments as chairman.
Held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium annually is a fan forum.
A small number of supporters and influencers were invited to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday night for the annual fan forum. They were asked to post questions for Ange Postecoglou, Son Heung-min, Daniel Levy, Johan Lange, Beth England, and Robert Vilahamn.
Many Spurs supporters watch the event eagerly to find out what 62-year-old Levy thinks about the club’s path because this is one of the few times they really get to ask questions of the player.
Levy questioned about his greatest successes.
Over the function, the Tottenham chairman was asked to list his three greatest accomplishments over his two decades with the team.
Davina Pindoria, who was there, stated that Levy’s two greatest accomplishments were creating the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and making it to the Champions League final in 2019.
Claiming to be “honored and blessed” to have worked with the “amazing players” he has, he stated that assembling the players he has at the club over the years is his third greatest accomplishment.
Not a word about trophies?
It’s possible that some supporters may wonder why Levy did not list his 2008 League Cup victory as one of his greatest accomplishments, but it makes sense.
We concluded the 2008 season in tenth place, which is a testament to the weakness of the team we had.
That was undoubtedly not a greater accomplishment than either making it to the 2019 Champions League final or earning the team’s first-ever Champions League qualification in 2010.
